Winslow Township High School was buzzing early in the morning, as two of the football team members signed national letters of intent to Navy and Purdue. Coach Felton Jones is very proud of the two, Jeremy Miles and Todshon Jones. As he said, “Isn’t it great to see two students, that were All Conference, get the chance at over $250,000 in scholarships?”

While waiting for the event to start, Todshon Jones faxed his letter to Purdue. A couple of minutes later the coaches from Purdue were on the phone talking to him.

Here are the stats provided by Winslow Township Head Coach:

Jeremy Miles - Signed with the Navy

  • OLB (outside linebacker)
  • 71 total tackles (2nd on team), 6 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception, 5 pass breakups, 4 caused fumbles, 3 fumbles recovered, 1 punt block that he returned for a TD.
  • Excellent student and athlete.
  • Played more snaps offensively and defensively than any other player. Team's best offensive weapon at TB. Jeremy had 14 TD on offense for 750 yards.

Todshon Jones - Signed with Purdue

  • DB (defensive back/corner)
  • 31 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 5 interceptions, 7 passes broken up, 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns
  • Tremendously athletic player who always covered the opponents' best receiving threat
