The second day of the Olympic-Cape Challenge for the boy's basketball team competition finally got underway at Hammonton High School. Originally schedule for Sunday, February 16th, the completion of the battle between the Olympic Conference teams against the Cape Atlantic Conference completed late today with five of the six games played were very competitive. The games that were covered were Camden Catholic having little problems defeating Holy Spirit, Timber Creek falling short against St. Joseph, Woodrow Wilson cruising by Wildwood Catholic and St. Augustine slipping by Winslow Township game.

Woodrow Wilson used a balanced attack during their match-up against Wildwood Catholic. Five players for the Tigers scored in double figures as Wilson built a double-digit lead at the half and survived a 28-point outburst by Wildwood Catholic in the final eight minutes of the game. The three pointer was the favorite shot by the Crusaders during their comeback. Wilson stuck to their game plan and walked away with a 63-58 win. The Tigers were led by Deshields’ 18 points, Brown scored 16 points, Inge added 16 points, Polk dropped in 11 and Shakir ended with 10 points for Woodrow Wilson. Wildwood Catholic got a team high 29 points for Morrison and 16 points from Kelly.
