Led by the outstanding play of goaltender Kevin Kraft, Rancocas Valley defeated Eastern 6-4 to win the Middle School championship at the B level. Rancocas had five different players score goals, with Rob Brown scoring twice. Jordan Robichaud led the Vikings attack with two goals. The game was scoreless midway through the first period until Frank Luciano shot the puck from the point. It seem to change direction and found the back of the net to give Rancocas a 1-0 lead.

Eastern had several scoring chances, but Kraft stood tall and kept the Vikings off the scoreboard. Jordan Mihalik made it 2-0 scoring right before the buzzer to end the period. Brown made it 3-0 scoring on a breakaway in the first two minutes of the second period and with Kraft stifling the Eastern offense things looked bleak. The closest the Vikings came to scoring was when Matt Lemma hit the post on a breakaway. Finally in the last minute of the second period Robichaud scored after a scramble in front of the net to make it 3-1.

After Koehl scored to bring Eastern to within 3-2, Rancocas capitalized on the man advantage as Andrew Karp scored on the power play to increase the lead to 4-2. Kraft continued to come up big and late goals by Brown and Griffin Buser sealed the win for Rancocas.
