HERSHEY, PA - Eric Fehr scored twice to lead the Hershey Bears to a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Phantoms in AHL action on Saturday night at the GIANT Center. The loss snapped Philadelphia's two-game winning streak.

Hershey scored the game's first goal just 56 seconds in. Dave Steckel took an initial shot that was stopped by Scott Munroe, but Steckel cleaned up his own rebound from 10 feet out to give the Bears the early 1-0 advantage.

At 10:34, Hershey took a 2-0 lead when Fehr picked up his first of the night. He was persistent in a pile of players in front of the net that included Munroe. The netminder was unable to collect the puck before Fehr jammed it home.

After a scoreless second period, the Bears took a 3-0 lead on a power play goal just 2:30 into the final frame. Kyle Wilson fired a shot from the point that hit the leg of Chad Wiseman and changed direction to head through Munroe's five hole.

Philadelphia got on the board at 7:21 of the period just after completing a power play. Triston Grant chased a dump-in to the end wall and absorbed a check before tossing it out in front for Don Morrison, who converted from close range for his third goal of the year and second in the GIANT Center.

The Bears closed out the scoring on Fehr's second, which came at 10:41 on a 5-on-3 power play. Fehr carried it over the Phantoms line and fired a 30-footer that beat Munroe to the glove side.

Munroe absorbed the loss with 34 saves on 38 Hershey shots, while Maxime Daigneault earned the win by stopping 27 of 28 Philadelphia chances.

The Phantoms now take a few days off for the Christmas holiday before returning to action on Tuesday, Dec. 26 when they visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 7:05 tilt.

The Phantoms return to the Wachovia Spectrum next Friday, December 29 to host the Providence Bruins. Individual tickets for all Phantoms games, including $8 tickets for children 14 and under anywhere in the building, are on sale now at phantomshockey.com or by calling 800-298-4200.
