The public is invited to attend a free Holiday Open House event at three Philadelphia-area Flyers Skate Zone locations on Sunday, November 23 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The three Flyers Skate Zone locations are in Northeast Philadelphia, Voorhees, NJ, and Atlantic City, NJ. The free, open-to-the-public Holiday Open House features an afternoon of free public skating, as well as free autographs, mascot and celebrity appearances, face-painting, inflatable games, and much more.

As part of the festivities, Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees will also feature Philadelphia Flyer Eric Chouinard signing autographs and the Sunny 104.5 Street Team; Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone at Northeast Philadelphia features Flyers Alumni and Ambassador of Hockey Bob Kelly signing autographs, members of the 76ers Dance Team, the Philadelphia Wings Dance Team and Q102’s Tic Tac and at Sun National Bank Flyers Skate Zone at Atlantic City, NJ, will feature members of the Boardwalk Bullies hockey team signing autographs.

“As the weather starts to get colder, this is our way of inviting the public to get in season with free public skating,” said Comcast-Spectacor Vice President of Rink Management and Development Pat Ferrill. “Our annual Holiday Party is a great way for the community to get together and celebrate the arrival of winter and the holiday season. It's also a fun afternoon for everyone with free ice skating, games, prizes and other surprises.”

The Holiday Open House will feature the most interactive public skating with a disc jockey and light show. Each Holiday Open House will also feature free games for fans of all ages, including shoot on goal and others. Additionally, the Gear Zone pro shop will also be hosting a special sale during the event with 15 percent off all apparel and 10 percent off all equipment for all holiday shopping needs.

The three participating Flyers Skate Zone locations are Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone at Northeast Philadelphia (10990 Decatur Road), Sovereign Bank Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees (601 Laurel Oak Road), and Sun National Bank Flyers Skate Zone at Atlantic City (501 North Albany Avenue).
