Flyers Re-sign Defenseman Chris Therien

PRESS RELEASE

The Philadelphia Flyers today re-signed defenseman Chris Therien to a four-year contract. As per team policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Therien, 28, registered four goals and nine assists for 13 points and 66 penalty minutes in 80 regular season games last season.

The 6-5, 234-pounder has registered 21 goals and 89 assists for 110 points and 385 penalty minutes in 433 regular season games during his during his six-year NHL career, all with the Flyers.
