At the annual spring meeting of the South Jersey Soccer League, Coach Brian Law was awarded the organizations "Sportsmanship Award". The award program is to recognize and reward the coach in each conference for exhibiting sportsmanship on and off the field.

The recipient of the award must exhibit leadership in fairness, courtesy, a positive attitude, being a role model and abiding by the rules. Each conference coach voting for one of his or her peers deserving of this award determines the award.

Coach Brian has the distinction as the only person to be involved every year since the inception of the Berlin Township Athletic Association thirty-one years ago. He was on the first soccer team in the township. He has played or coached in the organizations soccer, baseball and basketball programs over these years.

Soccer has been a natural sport for Coach Brian. Since his birth in Scotland, he has always had a soccer ball at his feet. His uncles used to hold him and have him kick a ball before he was able to walk.

Coach Brian is only the second coach from the Berlin Township Athletic Association to earn this recognition. Congratulations on a well-deserved award.
