Philadelphia KiXX Host Defending MISL Champion Blast in Preseason Exhibition
Club Holds Annual "Meet the Team Party" on September 28 at Tri-State Sports

Philadelphia KiXX Executive Vice President/General Manager Greg Bibb announced today the team will host the defending Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Champion Baltimore Blast for a preseason exhibition at the club’s annual “Meet the Team Party” on Tuesday, September 28. The event will be held at the team’s official practice facility, Tri-State Sports, with doors opening at 6:00 pm ET and the scrimmage slated to kick-off at 7:00 pm ET. Directions to the facility are listed below.

In addition to the preseason scrimmage, the night’s festivities include a performance from the 2004-05 KiXX Dance Team and a full-team autograph session. The event is open to the media and general public, with media availability immediately following the exhibition. Philadelphia’s ownership and staff members will also be on-hand to field questions from both the media and all fans in attendance. Light hors d’ouvers and soft drinks will be served.

The KiXX officially open training camp this Monday, September 13, with each session held at Tri-State Sports. The team will then kick-off their 2004-05 home schedule versus a to-be-determined MISL opponent on Saturday, November 6. Game-time at the Wachovia Spectrum is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET. The complete 2004-05 MISL schedule will be announced on Wednesday, September 15.

Directions to Tri-State Sports:

From Delaware County: Route 452 South or Dutton's Mill Road to Concord Road in Aston. Turn left on Concord Road and proceed one-two miles to Tri-State Sports on the right. Alternatively, Route 476 south to I-95 and follow directions from Philadelphia below.

From West Chester: Route 202 South to Route 1 North then Route 322 East. Exit at Route 452 North and proceed approximately one mile to Dutton Mill Road and turn right. At next light, turn right on Concord Road. Tri-State is one mile on the right. Driving time is approximately 20 minutes.

From Philadelphia and North: I-95 South to Exit 3A Route 322 towards West Chester. Exit on to Route 452 North. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Dutton Mill Road. At next light, turn right on Concord Road. Tri-State is one mile on the right. Driving time from South Philadelphia is 15-20 minutes.

From Wilmington and South: I-95 North to Route 452 North. Proceed approximately 2 miles to Dutton's Mill Road and turn right. At next light, turn right on Concord Road. Tri-State is approximately one mile on the right. Driving time is 15 minutes.

From New Jersey: Cross the Commodore Barry Bridge on Route 322 West. At the base of the bridge follow signs for I-95 to West Chester, but exit right on to Concord Road before reaching I-95 South. Proceed one mile to Tri-State on the left just after the I-95 Industrial Park. Driving time from the New Jersey side of the bridge is five minutes.

The Philadelphia KiXX are a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League, a single-entity organization that features a coast-to-coast presence across the United States. The club will enter its ninth season of play in 2004-05 at the Wachovia Spectrum located in Philadelphia, PA.
