Mt. Laurel Comes From Behind, Defeats Voorhees 5-4

Youth Under 9 Winter Indoor Soccer saw Mt. Laurel take on Voorhees. In an exciting match, Mt. Laurel was able to come from behind to take the 5-4 win. Drew Berlinsky for Mt. Laurel and Bobby Long of Voorhees both scored 3 goals.

The first half provided lots of scoring. Voorhees took the early 1-0 lead on Bobby Long's first goal. Mt. Laurel charged right back, scoring the next three goals of the game. All of the goals came off the foot of Drew Berlinsky. Not to be outdone, Voorhees scored the next two goals to tie the game, with Bobby Long matching Berlinsky's three goal performance.

With the game tied 3-3 to start the second half, Voorhees took the lead back. Bob Devine scored to give his team the 4-3 lead. The action continued with both teams showing ball control and good passing. Midway through the half, Mt. Laurel tied the game at 4-4 off a Brad Ziegler goal. Adam Polnerow scored the game winner for Mt. Laurel and a 5-4 victory for the team.
