Lynx Hold On To Defeat Barrington

The Vineland Lynx U-15 boys took a three goal lead in the first half, then held on in a wild second half to earn their third victory of the season. Mike Cheyne scored first for Vineland with an assist from Steve Ganci. Ganci then scored twice with assists from Ryan Sisko and Jaron Putmon. Barrington scored on a direct kick and a penalty shot in the second half as a result of the worst officiating I have witnessed in 10 years of coaching. Julius Mendez, Mike VonSuskil, Mike Latorre, and Adam Chini played excellent defense for the Lynx in front of Goalie Dan Sepers. Final Score: Vineland 3, Barrington 2

The Lynx are 3-1 in second place in the Olympic division.
