Lynx Lose To Warriors In State Cup

The Vineland Lynx (U-15 boys) were eliminated from the State Cup with a 2-1 loss to the Soccer America Warriors. The Lynx took the lead when Michael Cheyne headed in a long throw from Steve Ganci in the first half. Soccer America scored just before halftime to tie the game. They scored the game winner in the second half. Brock Boland and Mike Von Suskil played outstanding games for the Vineland squad. In other action, the Vineland Lightning under-9 boys team defeated the Mt. Laurel United Sharks 3-1. Lightning goals were scored by Dominick Caporale (1) assisted by Trey Martin, Xavier Hart (1) assisted by Trey Martin, and Jose Ramos (1) assisted by Adrian Avena.
