Waterford Comes From Behind To Beat Berlin

A SJGSA Girls 13-15 Junior Patriot Division game was was played at Waterford Twp. vs. Berlin AA. Berlin AA jumped out to a 7-2 lead goimg into the 5th inning, playing very good defense and good pitching going into the bottom of the 5th. Waterford scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 5th with key hits by Nicole Cicchino, Jayme Chiumento and Abigail Taraskus.

In the top of the 6th, Berlin got one run making it an 8 to 7 game going into the bottom of the 6th. With Waterford at bat and the girls getting into the game, Berlin walked two batters and Waterford again got key hits by Sarah Duckett and Michele Nelson, making it 9 to 8 Waterford going into the 7th inning. Sarah Longino (4-0) now pitched another great game.

Waterford made very good plays in the field the last 3 innings by Angela Dipompo, Jennifer Malady, Sarah Duckett, Michele Nelson, and Lindshy Hickman. Great Game Waterford, now 6-0.
