Eagles Defeat Overbrook in Annual "Turkey Bowl" Game

It was a great day for the fans at Eagles' Stadium on Thanksgiving Day when as the Edgewood Eagles (10-1) defeated the cross-town rival Overbrook Rams by a score of 14 - 8 in what was billed as the "Turkey Bowl" by the two schools. This game brought back old times were it was standing room only around the field.

Triton Ends Season With Tough Loss To Highland

On a cold and blustery Thanksgiving Day, the Triton Mustangs hosted the Tartans of Highland High School. When these two teams meet, stats don't mean a thing and the records can be thrown out. Dennis Vespe's Mustangs were looking to extend their winning streak against Highland to five games, but the Tartans behind star running back Ayo Saba were looking to start a streak of their own.

High School Ice Hockey:
Becker Nets Six As Eastern Tops Cinnaminson

Mike Becker scored six goals and Anthony Orner added a goal and three assists to lead Eastern to a 9-7 victory over Cinnaminson in a seesaw contest played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Tom Wood and Bill DeVece scored two goals each, as did Crosby for Cinnaminson to pace their attack. Neither team could hold the lead for more than four minutes, until late in the third period when Eastern took the lead for good. Becker opened the scoring at the eight-minute mark of the first period. With each team down a man, Dave Warrington sent Becker in and his goal made it 1-0.

High School Volleyball:
3rd Annual Olympic Conference Senior All Star Game

It was a night of stars at Eastern Regional High School Monday as the third annual Olympic Senior All Star game was held in front of over 400 fans. This game gives the seniors a chance to show case their individual skills and more importantly have a lot of fun in the process. The game had representatives from nine of the Olympic Conference teams. Additionally, several of the none participating coaches found the time to attend the match.
