South Jersey Football: Tuesday, July 12, 2005 By Marty Cross The South Jersey Lynx coaches and players visited the Dooley House in Camden, NJ on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Dooley House provides a residence for medically fragile children, 24 hours a day 365 days a year. In this homelike atmosphere, an On Call Physician, registered nurses and health care assistants provide the necessary medical & personal care to keep the children healthy and happy every day of their stay at Dooley House. It was a very good experience for both coaches and players. The kids, some as yound as a few months old seemed to enjoy themselves. The two older children really enjoyed the attention, they showed the Lynx representatives everything they could think of including pictures of previous trips to places like Sesame Place and Disneyland. It was a great experience for me, said Champ Horsey, it gives you a different perspective on life. |
