The Vineland Spectre went into the Vineland Memorial Day Soccer Tournament with high hopes and despite going undefeated, failed to make the finals. The Spectre tied Yardley PA 2 to 2 and beat Franklinville 3 to 1 on the first day of competition. Derrick Knowles and Alfie Latorre contributed two goals apiece and Martino Lasalandra had one. Defensive standouts for Vineland were Matt Morris and Josh Bocker, as goalie Chris Nettle continued his excellent play.

On Sunday, the Spectre needed a win to make the finals and came away with a 1 to 1 tie against Highland. Martino Lasalandra scored the lone Vineland goal while Highland needed a controversial penalty shot to get their goal. Vineland was led by Jared McClain and Ricky Catrambone who excelled on both sides of midfield.
