CHEROKEE VS. HIGHLAND Swim Meet

On Friday Cherokee's Boys Swim Team defeated Highland by a score of 110 to 69. Once angain the chiefs put all their energy and force in one place. Highland's only frist place finish was in diving with a score of 120.05. Cherokee finshed first in all other events. Mike Meade, Tom Lamorte, John LaMorte, Jimmy Reale, Mike Casey, Dan Stamate, Brian Conley, Greg Vogt, Vince Barrucco, John Kane, and Pat Dunigan were the top scores of the evening. Cherokee started out with a great beginning and there was nothing that Highland could do to stop the Chiefs from winning. The chiefs time in the 200 medly relay was 1:52.92, 200 Free 2:00.55, 200 I.M. 2:28.9, 100 Fly 1:01.63, 100 Free 59.0, 500 Free 5:10.1, 200 Free Relay 1:46.60, 100 Back 1:06.07, 100 Breast 1:15.8, and 400 Free relay 2:36.2.
