Palmyra Gets Everyone Involved Against Moorestown Friends

With the upcoming group basketball tournament beginning in about two weeks, there are some teams working on implementing a few new plays in preparation of the beginning of the high school version of March Madness. Two teams from the Burlington County League Freedom Division occurred at Palmyra when the boy's basketball team from Moorestown Friends entered the facilities. With a position already secured in the South Group I bracket, the Panthers' early success at building a lead allowed them to get as many players involved as possible. When Palmyra posted their 68-61 victory, five players finished in double figures.

Moorestown Friends Extend Their Winning Ways

The Lady Foxes from Moorestown Friends were enjoying their longest winning streak of the season at three games. It didn't look as if Moorestown Friends would extend their streak by one as they found themselves trailing after three quarters by six points. Ann Stouffer was successful in her efforts of reducing the Foxes deficits. Moorestown Friends would dominate the final quarter to pull out the come from behind victory at Maple Shade. The Foxes picked up the 44-39 victory over the Lady Wildcats in a non-league girl's basketball game.

Moorestown Friends Rolls Past St. Mary's

There has been some competitive competition this year in the Friends School Girl’s basketball league. One of the teams from that league was the Foxes from Moorestown Friends. The Foxes had just won a close game against George School and were looking to make it two in a row against St. Mary’s Hall. Participating in a non-league girl’s basketball game, Moorestown Friends was able to use their entire lineup to come away with the win. A seventeen point second quarter proved to be the difference for Friends in their 48-12 victory at home.
