        South Jersey Ice Hockey: Sunday, April 2, 2000

        The Ice Cats Womens Ice Hockey Club wins the Tri-State Women's Hockey League Championship !!! After having a tremendous season at 15-2-1, the Ice Cats went on to beat the South Jersey Demons Womens Ice Hockey team 8-2 Sunday night at the Ice Works in Aston, PA. The Ice Cats had a whooping total of 46 shots on goal to the SJ Demons 15.

        High School Girls Lacrosse: Saturday, April 1, 2000

        Every team is optimistic on opening day, as every team starts out undefeated.  But the Lady Quakers of Moorestown showed they were all business, and that they were ready for their annual pursuit of the state title.  Courtney Legath led the way with 7 goals, as Moorestown muscled past Eastern 16-5.

        High School Softball: Saturday, April 1, 2000

        It was a beautiful, sunny day and a great day to start the 2000 high school girl's softball season. It was also April Fools Day, but there was no fooling around at the game. The Bishop Eustace Crusaders traveled to Edgewood High School to play the Eagles in an Olympic Conference game.

        High School Baseball: Saturday, April 1, 2000

        The year 2000 high school baseball began on Saturday morning with teams trying to get an early start on a successful season.  The Washington Township Minutemen traveled to Highland High School and wanted to get their first win on the road.  Township rolled all over Highland by scoring early and often to post a 15-5 win in a non-league game.

        South Jersey Volleyball: Wednesday, March 29, 2000

        The final matches for the Wednesday Night Burlington YMCA coed volleyball league came to an end.  The results were not what you expected it to be, which brings us to that saying, "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings."  The Bears exceeded all expectations as they were crowned the best in the winter "B" volleyball league.
